What is SSC CHSL Age Limit ?

Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 27 years as on 01 August 2018. He/She must not have born earlier than 002-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2000.

What is SSC CHSL Education Qualification ?
Educational Qualification for each and every post must be satisfied by the individual candidates. If any candidates not fulfill the desirable and essential EQ fixed by the Commission then it have right to disqualify at any stage of recruitment. The Following educational qualification is must be attained by the candidates. (i)Education Qualification:- All the candidates Must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or 12th or equivalent Examination from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) For Data Entry Operator in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): The Candidates for the post must be 12th standard pass in Science Stream with Math is a subject.
Note:– All candidates who are eligible for appearing at the Typing Test/Skill Test will be required to show the relevant Certificate in Original such as Mark sheets, Provisional Certificate, etc as proof of having the minimum educational qualification. If Candidates cannot provide these documents than the result of such candidates will be cancelled by the Commission. The candidates must be able to prove, by documentary evidence of SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria that the result of the qualifying examination was declared.
What is SSC 10+2 Eligibility Criteria For Skill/Typing Test ?
The candidates who have Qualified the both Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam separately would be eligible to appear for the Skill/Typing Test as per the requirement of post wise. The Tier 3 exam is for said Paper examination. it will be only Qualifying in nature. The candidates must obtained the minimum required marks as fixed by the commission for both Skill/Typing Test only.
SSC CHSL Skill Test for Data Entry Operator (DEO):
i.) Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer.
ii.) For post of Data Entry Operator in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG):- A speed Test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for data entry work to be ascertained through speed test on Computer
- The Duration of Skill Test for DEO will be 15 minutes and matter will be printed in English Only.
- It will only Qualifying in Nature.
- After the Qualifying the Tier-I, II and Skill Test the candidates will go under the detailed Documents verification as mentioned in the SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2018.
- The Skill Test will be held at the Commission Regional Offices or other center fixed by the SSC.
Typing Test for LDC/ JSA and Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant:– The SSC CHSL Typing Test Exam will be conduct also only those candidates who have Qualified the Tier- and Tier-II exams. The Following pattern will be followed for the said test as:
Typing Speed for English:– 35 words per minute
Typing Speed for Hindi:– 30 words per minute
35 w.p.m. to 10500 key depressions per hour and 30 w.p.m. corresponds 9000 key depressions per hour.
- The such Test will be conduct in English or Hindi and Candidates applied for the Medium in the application Form.
- The Typing Test will be based on Computer and it will be only Qualifying in nature.
- If any candidate does not opted any medium for typing, his/her option will be English medium as default.
